Baekjeong Korean BBQ House Richmond

We’ve been here at least 10 times, it’s outstanding and probably the best Korean BBQ in Calgary. There quality is ultra consistent, the service is excellent and friendly and good value in their pricing

This rating is for their combo for 2 menu, since I know they have AYCE now, but I wanted to give a review specifically for the combo for 2 because it was just that good! I absolutely love it every time I visit Baekjeong, It’s so well balanced with the different meats and sides and soup that they give, the service is always so tentative and it really helps that they have the call button, and overall it’s a restaurant I will always come back to for a special occasion. The place is always so clean and I have never once had a bad experience here. I have tried their AYCE as well and thought it was also great! So much to select from and they have so much variety in terms of the meat. I love KBBQs that focus on the quality of the meat and Baekjeong never disappoints. Everything was perfectly marinated. It’s on the pricier side of AYCE in Calgary, but I would say it’s worth going once in a while to treat yourself, as well as the combo for 2.

Our first Korean BBQ experience where we cooked the meat at the table. It was a unique experience, but maybe a bit too much going on - potentially overcooking or undercooking while I ate. The marinaded beef bone-in ribs were awesome, and the shrimp weee delicious after cooked in butter. The thick pieces of chicken that my wife ate were a bit problematic, as they occupied the grill for a long time - never knowing if they were cooked. Also, arriving on the same plate as the other raw meat was weird. There were a lot a side dishes to try - the pickled radishes and onions were quite flavourful. Perhaps a bit more instruction on cook times and how to use the sauces and spices would have gone a long way.

We had our girls lunch here and we had so much fun! Love the food, the meat is so tasty. Definitely best Korean BBQ so far

Came for a birthday dinner and tried their AYCE. I was impressed by the meat quality. It was so good! Everything was delicious and our server Eunjae was super sweet and quick with the service, made the night even better. Definitely be coming back

We ordered the beef and pork combo for two. It was plenty of food likely suitable for 3 to 4 people. There is a bit of struggle to rate a Korean BBQ since you only receive the raw meat and it is up to you to cook it properly. The side dishes were nice, the experience is fine, however, not recommended for those who believe there is a limit for red meat and don't want to smell after dining! The hood was not working properly on our table and at the minimum heat, still lot of oil splatter, so dress properly! Overall interesting experience and we may visit it again with a larger crowd.

We have been here 3 times now since they started their AYCE and the quality is always great. Service is quick and attentive, and the interior design created a very welcoming and appropriate atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Tony is a good server. I like how he is very open to questions and answer them without judgement. The place is lovely and the food looks delicious. Can’t wait to go back and bring my friends with me.
